If you feel God’s nudge to disciple and share in another woman’s life by using what God has done in your life to encourage and assist her in the glorious walk of a Christian woman …

If you are a woman who has been feeling the need to talk to another Christian woman who has “been in your shoes” and with God’s help made it through and wants to support, encourage and disciple you at this time in your Christian life ...

This is for Women of all ages and will be for six months. Come join us at our next season of Women Discipling Women.

“But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.  That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory.”  1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, 12

“One generation shall praise thy works to another and shall declare thy mighty acts.” Psalm 145:4

To give the women of Willow Park Baptist Church the opportunity to experience joy and growth in their Christian lives by participating in a one-on-one supporting and encouraging discipling relationship. The goal is to empower women through the reading and applying of the Word of God, personal daily devotion and prayer.  A mentor will be a woman who is a practicing Christian, a member who regularly attends Willow Park Baptist Church, and has the desire to let her life be an example, to be a godly role model. A mentee will be a member who regularly attends Willow Park Baptist Church, who is younger in her walk with the Lord. Women of all ages are welcome. The Scriptural foundation is Titus 2:3-5, which tells us to teach and guide the next generation of Christian women in how to live the life of a godly woman.

“The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”  Titus2:3-5
