Esther was God’s woman, although the name of God is not mentioned in her brief history. God had big plans for His people, so He raised up Esther for their saving.
Esther was an orphan child, raised by her God fearing Uncle, Mordecai. His influence and faith was lived in front of her, and he taught her to be strong and brave.
Esther’s dramatic stand and intervention are no doubt a part of the beauty of her story. The attributes that made her great are timeless. She showed elegance, beauty and self-control. Her presence in the King’s house brought her and her people the salvation only God could provide.
A real woman of God, Esther was a woman of grace, faith and courage.
