What To Expect

What To Expect

We’re excited at the opportunity of your family visiting WPBC. Here is some basic information to help make your visit to WPBC as easy as possible.

How early should I arrive?

If you plan on checking your children in, we recommend arriving 20 minutes prior to the service you’re attending. If you aren’t checking in children, arriving 10 minutes before the service gives you enough time to park and find a seat. Our baptisms take place at the beginning of each service, so if you are coming to see someone baptized, be sure to arrive a little earlier to ensure you catch the baptisms. Each of our services are about an hour and fifteen minutes.

The first time you step on campus, you will experience families in all stages of life: newlyweds, new parents, blended families, single parents, grandparents, young couples, and couples that have been together for a long time.  We have a place for everyone, and everyone has a place here at Willow Park Baptist Church.

Welcome Center

When you arrive, stop by the Welcome Center (in the foyer of our Worship Center) where we have a gift for all of our first-time guests. That’s also where we can help you locate the nursery and get your kids checked in as well as answer any questions you may have about Willow Park.

What should I wear?

We don’t have a specific dress code at Willow Park—some wear suits, others wear jeans, and many of our families wear business-casual-type outfits. Regardless of what you choose to wear, we want you to feel welcomed and not judged.

Sunday School

Discipleship at Willow Park takes place through our Sunday School Classes, which are held every week at 10:00 am. To find the right class for you and your family, visit the Welcome Center (in the foyer of our Worship Center).

In all of our services, we have a fully staffed nursery with trained workers to take the absolute best care possible of your children. Every volunteer goes through an annual background check, and we always have a safety team in place.

For children ages three years through sixth grade, we have Sunday School Classes during our 10:00 am service. Each Sunday, we also offer Center Stage—a high energy children’s service packed full of fun worship songs and biblical teaching that is sure to point your kid to Jesus Christ and teach them the foundations of our faith. This is the perfect opportunity for your kid to also make life-long friendships and establish themselves in a church home. Don’t worry parents, with our check-in system, you can rest easy and focus on the message God has for you, with the peace of mind that your child is safe and secure in their own class. This exciting program is offered every Sunday morning at 8:30 am and 11:30 am.

For junior high and senior high students, we have the Blaze, which offers several different programs to help equip students to live lives faithful to God, including Wednesday Night Worship and Sunday School.
